Boston, Massachusetts History and Architecture -- Welcome to iBoston

Find what you'll love in Boston

Perhaps Boston can be best described as a welcome contradiction: Hip alongside historic. Skyscrapers surround parks. Gourmet meets pizza.

Just as the city pays homage to every period of America's timeline, it also serves as all things to all people. The Greater Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau is here to help you experience Boston like a local.

For that, check out Boston Insider to get the local perspective on the best experiences for Foodies, Traveling Families, History Lovers and others who want to indulge in their particular passion while in Boston.

There's also Boston Everyday, which tells you what to do, where to stay, where to eat, and where to shop on all 365 days. And you can also see a complete calendar of events in Boston and some of our favorite picks.

Huba Huba, the BostonUSA Blog provides a creative look into activities, attractions and experiences in the city and the surrounding communities.

So jump right in and plan your trip, from getting here to getting around the city. Get ideas and suggested itineraries from Boston Insider, or just learn all about Boston.

The Blackstone Valley in MA is cool. It dates back to the early 1600's This is where the industrial revolution began, old mill foundations are hidden along the Blackstone River. This is where I found the gold coin from 1720 or 1728. I cant read the date to well, its been banged up. Anyway...Where do you like to go?
